The Financial Backbone of the College

The Accounts Department at Gwebi Agricultural College is responsible for managing the financial operations of the institution. We ensure transparency, accountability, and efficient financial management to support the college's mission and vision.

Key Functions:

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

  •  Preparing annual budgets and financial plans to support college operations.
  •  Monitoring expenditures and ensuring alignment with budgetary allocations.

Financial Reporting:

  •  Generating accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  •  Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Payroll Management:

  •  Processing payroll for all college staff, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  •  Managing employee benefits, deductions, and tax compliance.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  •  Managing payments to suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely settlement of invoices.
  •  Tracking and collecting receivables from students, sponsors, and other stakeholders.

Audit and Compliance:

  •  Conducting internal audits to ensure financial integrity and compliance with policies.
